Eastern Creek Quarter Shopping Centre (ECQ) offers convenient shopping and dining in Western Sydney, featuring a full-line Woolworths, BWS, pharmacy, newsagency, and over 40 specialty retailers. Designed to serve the growing local community, ECQ also includes ECQ Social, a vibrant covered alfresco dining area with an outdoor deck, kids’ play zone and large-format digital screen, making it a go-to destination for everyday essentials and relaxed social gatherings.
Project Design Brief
Designers chose to equip each dining outlet with its own grease trap to ensure that a blockage of any one unit would not impact the operation of others, minimizing the risk of closures. They also prioritized a durable tank whose body would be resistant to the aggressive materials typically found in tanks, while ensuring easy access for cleaning and efficient liquid removal.
