ACO Passavant

Genesis Christian College, Bray Park, QLD

Genesis Christian College is an independent, co-educational school catering for 1300 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The college established in 1991, consists of architecturally designed campuses and has been involved in a strategically planned building program.

Project Design Brief

In 2014, the college refurbished the Home Economics Centre, which included a professionally equipped stainless steel kitchen for the delivery of certified hospitality courses. The commercial training kitchen required a grease separator to comply with Queensland’s wastewater regulations. Designers required a durable grease separator, suitable for easy maintenance.

ACO’s Solution

Lipumax 2000L below ground gravity grease separator with Class B ductile iron cover and concrete collar.

Benefits

  • The separator body is made from durable polyethylene which provides excellent corrosion resistance properties
  • Lipumax units are engineered to withstand buoyancy from varying ground moisture levels
  • An optional adjustable riser tube is available to ensure the access cover is installed flush with the finished floor level
